With 2025 being declared the ‘Year of the Family’, it has become more important than ever to address the family institution in a multi-dimensional manner and to evaluate the role of women in all areas of social life on a scientific basis. International Symposium on The Empowerment of Women and Families, organised in this context, aims to address women and family issues with an interdisciplinary approach and to increase the accumulation of knowledge in this field.
The symposium is open to participants from universities, non-governmental organisations, national education community, health and social service fields, environment and disaster management experts, migration and media workers, local administrations and all related fields and institutions from Turkey and other countries of the world.
This symposium, which covers every age group (child, youth, adult, elderly) and every field of science related to women and family, aims to produce common solutions by bringing together experts from different disciplines.
We invite all academics, practitioners, policy makers and interested parties who want to contribute to the empowerment of women and the family to contribute to this meaningful meeting.
Let's think together, let's get stronger together.
***The symposium satisfies the criteria for associate professorship.
