Full Text Submission Guidelines
General Rules
• Full text(s) must be based on accepted abstracts.
• Only original works that have not been previously published will be accepted.
• The language of writing may be either Turkish or English.
• The full text should be at least 8 and no more than 15 pages in length.
• The full text should be written in accordance with APA-7 rules.
• The full text should comply with academic and scientific writing rules.
• For Turkish texts, the TDK Spelling Guide should be used as a basis for spelling rules.
Writing Rules
• The font type should be Times New Roman.
• The font size should be 12 points.
• The line spacing should be 1.15.
• The page margins should be set to 2.5 cm on all sides.
• The paragraph indentation should be set to 1.25 cm (first line).
• The page number should be at the bottom centre.
• Main headings should be 14 point, bold and centred.
• Subheadings should be 12 point, bold and left-aligned.
Full Text Structure:
• Introduction
• Method(s)
• Findings
• Discussion and Conclusion
• References: Must be formatted in APA 7 style
Submission Format:
• Full text files must be in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
• The file name should be as follows: Author(s) Surname, Name-Short Title.docx (e.g., Öztekin, Ayşe-Family.docx)
• Submissions will be made via the symposium email address.
Review and Publication Processes:
• Submitted full texts will be subject to peer review.
• Accepted papers may be revised in accordance with the recommendations of the scientific committee.
• Accepted abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings booklet on a digital platform.
• Journal names will be announced for authors who wish to submit their full texts as articles.
Abstract Submission Guideline
Dear Participants,
All abstract submissions sent to the symposium’s official email address will undergo a double-blind peer review process, in line with academic ethical standards. During this process, each submission will be evaluated objectively with regard to its scientific merit, original contribution, and methodological appropriateness. In order to preserve the international character of the symposium, the proportion of accepted abstracts from Türkiye is intended to remain below 49% of the total. Accordingly, the review process will be conducted with sensitivity to both geographic and thematic diversity. We thank you for your contributions and wish you a successful review experience.

General Rules
- Abstracts submitted to the symposium must be directly related to women's and/or family issues and must align with at least one of the symposium themes.
- Abstracts for presentations in Turkish must be prepared in both Turkish and English. For presentations in English, only an English abstract is required.
- Each participant may submit a maximum of two papers, either as an individual author or co-author.
- Submitted abstracts will undergo a double-blind peer review by the scientific committee.
Abstract Formatting Guidelines
- Abstracts should be between 150 and 300 words.
- No paragraph indentation should be used.
- Margins must be set to 2.5 cm on all sides.
- Single line spacing should be applied.
- Attention must be paid to writing conventions, and Turkish texts must comply with the Turkish Language Association (TDK) spelling guide.
- Times New Roman should be used as the font. The title should be centered, in uppercase letters, bold, and 12 pt. Below the title, the authors’ names should be centered, bold, first letters capitalized, and 12 pt. The abstract text and keywords should be 11 pt.
- 3 to 5 keywords should be included below the abstract.
- A footnote in 9 pt should include the following author(s) information:
- Institution Name
- Department
- Title
- City
- Country
- E-mail address
- ORCID number
- No citations should be included in the abstract.
Suggested Abstract Structure:
- Introduction (Theoretical framework, purpose, and significance)
- Methodology (Method(s) used, research design, population-sample/participants/study group, data collection tools, and data analysis approach)
- Findings (Main findings)
- Conclusion and Recommendations (What contributions does the study make?)
Acceptance and Notification:
- Full text submission is not mandatory.
- Submitted full texts will be evaluated using a double-blind peer review system.
- Revisions may be requested for accepted full texts in line with the recommendations of the scientific committee.
- Accepted papers will be published in a digital platform in the symposium full text proceedings book with an ISBN.
